I have found a skin tag, or an acrochordon, in a very sensitive place. (Sensitive meaning to touch, and also as in sensitive to discuss/treat, if you know what I mean…). I have never noticed it before, for all I know it might be recent, and it hasn’t bothered me. But quite frankly it looks disgusting, and I want it removed. I don’t want a docotor to do it because I don’t want to spend the $50-200 dollars an appointment would cost and I’m interested in getting rid of it myself. I was wondering if anyone could suggest ways to remove it in a relatively painless fashion. Has anyone ever tied a skin tag with string yourself and have it fall off that way? How much does this hurt? Infection? I have also almost cut it off twice myself, but am worried about how much it will hurt. Has anyone done this? How much does this hurt? Once again, is there risk of infection? Ways of treating it while it heals? Any help is greatly appreciated. I feel incredibly self-conscious about it, even though no one will see it, and I want it GONE!

I have a couple of skin tags on my neck…one on the side near the back and one on the front. I had one under my arm that was of decent size, and I went to the dr. and she just cut it off no problem. She said if it hadn’t been in such an awkward place I could have done it myself. Does that mean I’ll be ok to cut the one of my neck? I’m ok with doing the one on the side, but I’m nervous about the one on the front.

I have a skin tag under my eye. It is not large enough to cut off or pull off. I don”t want to go the doctor ,does any one have a home remedy for removal.

I have a skin tag on the crease of my leg and pelvic area. It is about the cirumfrence of a pea but relatively flat. How do i get rid of it? and if youve had one removed was it painful??

Has anyone had this done? I have one right on the **** and it slips in and out and is itchy and irritating. I’ve heard that they can just cut it off? Has anyone tried laser on it to remove it? Any help is much appreciated! thanks
