Tomorrow I am going to the doctors to get my skin tag removed off of my stomach/waist area. It would be helpful if I got some information from people who had the same problem and got them taken off by a doctor. What did they do? Any numbing? And did it hurt? If you could answer it would make me less nervous. Thanks

Well this is going to gross you out but i ripped mine off myself (or cut) I know sounds GROSS but it really wasn’t. No it does not hurt one bit. I didn’t go to the doctor and do it but my mom has and there is no numbing! But you won’t need it!!
I HAD SEVERAL REMOVED FROM MY NECK,BY A PRACTITIONER IN THE DR. OFFICE I LAY ED DOWN ON THE TABLE WITH MY GOWN ON AND SHE GLOVED WITH AN ASSISTANT THERE ,SHE TOOK A BIG PENCIL TYPE THING THAT BUZZED WHEN SHE TOUCHED ME ,THAT IS WHAT MADE ME JUMP!!IT JUST STINGS A LITTLE ,MOSTLY IT STINKS BECAUSE ITS YOUR FLESH THAT IS BURNING,SHE HAD TO DO ONE THAT WAS DEEP AND KINDA BIG ,SHE HAD TO GET A LITTLE AGGRESSIVE WITH IT AND IT BLED A LITTLE,BUT AFTER THE STINGING WAS GONE IT WAS OK,A LITTLE TENDER FOR A FEW DAYS.BUT NOT SO BAD.NO MEDICINE NO DRUGS ,YOU JUST HAVE TO BE TOUGH!!YOU CAN DO IT!ITS NO BIG DEAL,ONLY A SEC.FOR EACH ONE.GOOD LUCK!
